Lena (mrs_right) I'd like to read something where the heroine is shy and innocent, maybe even skittish and wary of getting involved with someone... Something where the guy has to put an actual effort into pursuing the girl :) Is there something like that?

Thank you, Cindy, but I've read both already! Actually, Wait for You is one of my favorite books! Do you know anything similar?

To be honest, I'm not very familiar with historical romances - I've only read a few books written by Tessa Dare. Could you recommend me something fitting from this genre? :)

Anna Faversham (annafaversham) | 26 comments Hi Lena, One Dark Night is the first in a series of 3 books I have written and this book certainly shows the guys having to put in the effort! Two slug it out for her hand in marriage. I would not say Lucy is very shy, but she is downtrodden and an outcast and she loses the only friend she had ever known within the first few pages.

I hope this helps. I know how important it is to get the right books.
