Worse Angels by Laird Barron was released this past May. It is the third in a series of novels featuring Isaiah Coleridge, an ex-mob enforcer turned private investigator. I have not personally read any of them, but a hasty glance at the blurbs make them sound as though they are noirish with some supernatural elements.

BookPeople, an independent bookstore in Austin, is hosting a virtual event (on Zoom) on 22 June 7 pm CDT during which Barron will be discussing the book and answering pre-submitted audience questions.
