Do you think Carleton has finally found peace? Will he continue his Shadow of Knight activities?

I think he will be happy with Pru and their child. But he strikes me as the type who would still hit the streets some nights to do his part in dealing out justice. He just won't be out there every night.

I can't remember...was there someone else who might take up the mask of the Knight of Shadows? This reminded me of Elizabeth Hoyt's Maiden Lane series where the Ghost of St. Giles did much the same thing.

He has definitely found a measure of peace with Pru and becoming a father can only add to that. The epilogue said that others were assisting him and the papers were having a time with the differing descriptions. I think he will still do his Knight of Shadows thing on occasion.

I think he’ll hang up the mask for the most part. Family is it for him.

I was also thinking of the Ghost of St Giles character, that Carleton will go out from time to time, but that he will soon retire from such danger to take care of his family.

I think Carleton’s days as the Shadow of Knight are done, though I don’t think he’ll be above joining his friends on “special projects.” I agree he’s going to want to revel in his family. It was hard fought for.
