Hi! My name is Becca and my favorite Fairy Tale Retelling is Ella Enchanted. I like Beauty & the Beast and Cinderella retellings! <3

I'm AspiringAuthor, and I love twisted retellings. My favorites right now are Forest of A Thousand Lanterns (the Evil Queen), House of Salt and Sorrows (the Twelve Dancing Princesses), and Princess of the Midnight Ball (a series of three retellings).

Hi my name is Rheanna. My favourite fairytale retellings are The Lunar Chronicles. I haven’t read many retellings but I’m looking to read more so if anybody has suggestions that would be great <3.

Hi Rheanna! I haven't read The Lunar Chronicles yet, but I really need to! I haven't read many retellings either (aka two lol)
I recommend the Whatever After series, they are middle school books, but they are really good!

I'm Fatima and my favorite fairy tale retelling is....ooh it's not an easy thing just to choose one but I'll go with Riches to Rags by Casey L Bond. I recommend the audiobook, the narrators are really good.
I feel I cannot leave out Melanie Dickerson's Hagenheim and Medieval fairy tale series. :)

Hi, I'm Nessie. My favourite retellings are basically all from Marissa Meyer (tlc and Heartless), I love Alice in Wonderland but unfortunately I disliked most of the AiW rettellings I've read so definitely need some suggestions...
I also loved Stepsister or Every heart a doorway (i guess it's kinda a retelling, right?).

I’m K, and retellings of fairytales and folktales are definitely my favorite books to read now.

I can’t pick one favorite. My favorites that are retellings of European fairytales are Thorn (Goose Girl) by Intisar Khanani and A Curse So Dark and Lonely (Beauty and the Beast) by Brigid Kemmerer.

My favorites that are retellings of fairytales from outside Europe are Girl, Serpent, Thorn (loosely based on a Persian fairytale) by Melissa Bashardoust and Gods of Jade and Shadow (South American fairytale) by Silvia Moreno-Garcia.

My favorite books that read like original fairytales are Spinning Silver by Naomi Novik and Sisters of the Winter Wood by Rena Rossner.

Spinning Silver is actually one of my favorite books of all time.
