Might be a couple of longshots as the baby animal is not a rabbit in these- but maybe Not This Bear: A First Day of School Story by Alyssa Satin Capucilli? Or The Kissing Hand by Audrey Penn?

Baby animal is scared to go to school, the mother tells him/her how much she loves him/her, encourages baby to be brave, baby goes to school, and has fun.
I know two books that it is NOT, because of some Google Searches I did. It is not Bunny Roo I Love you and it is not Do You Know How Much I Love You.
