Will find this useful. I don't have the Jan and Feb book picks yet and I hate the idea of attending a book discussion without having read the book. (view spoiler)
For February - I see copies of Love Walked In in Booksale often, so if I find one, I'll buy it and anyone can get it from me. I also see mass market versions of it in Fully Booked every now and then. I'll also give a heads-up when I spot any. :)I'm willing to lend my copy, too. =D I'll just reread it real quick then pass it on to anyone who wants to borrow it. =)

Alona found copies of Love Walked in (TPB, 589Php) at NBS CM Recto and NBS Rizal Avenue. Two copies in each store as of this writing :)
RE: March book. I asked Lucy of Fully Booked if they have copies but she said it's "on order." I haven't asked NBS yet but I'm not counting too much on it. So for those who prefer print copies over the digital one, and for those who have accounts at Book Depository, I would suggest purchasing a copy now so that it will be delivered on Feb, just in time for the March discussion. Or, if you guys wish to buy from BookDep but don't have an account there, I can buy a copy for you (view spoiler). You can check out the formats HERE. Just send me a PM. I'll also have a deadline for ordering so the sooner you decide, the better. (view spoiler)
For those who are fine reading the digital copy, I'll provide it later.
Meantime, you can also ask some indie or used-books shops if they have copies. I'll ask around and let you know right away. :)
EDIT: I reserved this copy from a bookseller-friend on Facebook. It's trade paperback for P170. Reserved it under my name, let me know if anyone wants it. :) CLICK!
As of JANUARY 26 (today): Two paperback copies of The God of Small Things are already en route to me from The Book Depository. Want one? You may buy one from me for only $9.32 (more or less Php400.00) as soon as I receive it next month. There is also the other pre-loved copy I reserved from an online seller (see message #8 above). First dibs apply. :)
Ms. Monique, is the preloved copy still available? I'd like to claim it, if yes. Otherwise, I'd also like to buy one of the Book Depo ones. Let me know that best way to forward the funds. (I'm Makati-based and not good with navigating Manila, sorry!)
KRISTEL: Aaron was too fast, haha. He has dibs on the pre-loved one. You can have one of the Book Dep ones, though. Don't worry, we'll work something out. :)
Monique: No worries, I can give way to others naman! Parang may ibang folks naman akong mahihiraman. :)
Kristel wrote: "Monique: No worries, I can give way to others naman! Parang may ibang folks naman akong mahihiraman. :)"So should I save one for you or hindi na muna? :)
Monique: Mauna na muna si Tina! I'll just keep up with this thread in case may available sa mga local bookstores. I'm interested in owning kasi.

I saw some copies of The God of Small Things in National Bookstore near LRT Vito Cruz station. They are plenty and they are on sale. 100 pesos only. And brand new. And beautiful. And it's trade paperback.

According to Fully Booked they still have copies in Greenhills and MOA. Not sure how many, but they just transferred a copy to Eastwood for me, so you can have one transferred to you in your nearest branch. That said, the I no longer have dibs on one of the Book Depository copies that Monique ordered. =)
Hello! Found one copy of Aristotle & Dante (our May F2F book) in Fully Booked Eastwood, hardcover, PHP 684. :)
^Which reminds me, went to Fully Booked BHS last weekend and they have lots of Aristotle and Dante in trade paperback, Php385 each. The stocks are at the second level. :)
Hello! I found a copy of our June F2F book, The Maltese Falcon by Dashiell Hammett in Fully Booked Eastwood earlier (TPB, Php315). It's the last copy, though, but that means there might be stock in other stores. :)
