Started today during lunch....Good pacing so far, with quick chapters..

I'll start it too in that case. How far in are you?

I just read the first two chapters, so not far. They're short.

Would have read more but had to finish up Widdershins in the first part of my lunch hour...

Widdershins seems great according to the blurb. Is it good?

I agree with you on pacing. I like the narrative and style.

And from chapter 3 it becomes really interesting.

I wanted to ask something. Amra says there are demons and daemons. Do you have any idea why and what the difference is? Until now I've met the terms in separate books and they both meant practically the same.

I'll read some more and be back in a bit with a few comments.

In most places,they seem to be the same. Like slightly different spellings of the same.

Back in my Dungeons and Dragons phase, they were similar but different. They had different abilities and vulnerabilities. Devils were different too. I think demons were chaotic evil, devils were lawful evil, and daemons were neutral evil.

Maybe the author will clarify at some point. Guess it depends on how he set up his world.

I'm still working on this. Got a bit derailed on all of my reading for the last couple of weeks.

I've finished Chapter 10. I'll probably need to glance back at that chapter to jog my memory a bit..

I'm in about the same place and will try to finish it during the holidays.

I read some last night and today, through Chapter 17 and just past halfway...

It has a good pace and interesting story. Since I'm back to reading again I should be good to finish soon as well.

It was enjoyable. Quick pace and good twists. Reminded me of some detective thrillers, just set in a fantasy world
