I don't see a thread for discussion of the agape (charity) chapter. I think he could have done a lot more to explain what it is and how it differs from the other loves. In any case, the other three aren't "mere feelings" but have large elements of appreciation, commitment, conversation...I think he's right that inadequacies in human loves lay bare our need for divine love, and that it may be hardest, paradoxically, to turn to God when human love is purest and best. I know I had to readjust my relationship with God after marrying my wonderful husband, as much of that friendship with God previously had been based on loneliness, longing, self-pity...
Anyone wants to add another C.S. Lewis to the nomination lists?I'd do it, but I feel that I've been nominating many lately.

If you have one in mind go for it. If no one else has I will select something from my collected works of C.S. Lewis and nominate it. Speaking of which, I believe you are still well behind Fonch and I in the number of nominations.

The source of questions I was using didn't have any that struck me as especially helpful. If you have a suggestion for one, please feel free to post it.

Yes Tania there was a spanish edition. This book was published by the spanish publishing RIALP, which translated more or less the complete books of C.S. Lewis.
