ok sooooo i may have accidentally (on purpose) read up to chapter 25, but anyway i loved getting to know the characters more in this set! poor Wren :(( she had such a horrific past. also i totally forgot that Lucas was a prince!

Ch 12
- [ ] “That’s my girl” awwww Lucas! He is so sweet and without even trying!

Ch 13
- [ ] It must have been awful what they did to Hugo. I don’t want to find out

Ch 14
- [ ] I can’t remember who becomes the next guildmaster after Kasper, I think it’s Callidus ? I could be wrong but I honestly don’t remember
- [ ] But I can’t believe how much he pointed the finger to Wren the whole time during his speech!

Ch 15
- [ ] Aww I do enjoy Wren and Hale’s friendship more and more, he seems to genuinely like her and helps her in every way he can

Ch 16
- [ ] Haha smart thinking Hale but she is definitely into a certain inspector ;)

Ch 17
- [ ] Poor Wren, I get why she got upset because he hadn’t told her the whole truth and he was a prince. But at least the secrets out
- [ ] Virgil is funny and nice. It’s also funny how two princes change their lives, one as a priest and another an inspector, Life in the palace may not have been grand for them

Ch 18
- [ ] Sable was always so blunt but I love her honest and stern nature

Ch 19
- [ ] Awww that’s sweet, it must be nice to dress up once in a while

Ch 20
- [ ] Master Pike is funny and obviously head over heels over Sable. Looks like he might be an ally too
- [ ] I also like Lennon

Ch 21
- [ ] Poor thing, but why would he vouch for a stranger ? Knowing his own life is on the line too ?

Ch 22
- [ ] How definitely human Callidus looked as he lamented Kasper’s death.
- [ ] But why did he deliver such a powerful speech if he didn’t want to be guildmaster?

Hahaha! I get it I read up to ch 31 this morning 🤭🤣
Also yes I love getting to know everyone just a little bit more each time. At the start I like vaguely remembered Lucas was someone important, but when the King was mentioned and how horrible he is that was when I remembered ah yes Lucas is a prince from that monster

yeah Callidus is a bit weird, with his dramatic speech where he hated on Wren, even though he knew she was innocent? weird dude ahah. and yesss Lucas is the sweetest, and Virgil is amazing as well.
and yeah Hale and Wren have the sweetest friendship!

I know it was a bit overly dramatic, and oh yeah! He did think she was innocent, maybe it was some kind of strategy to find out who the killer is?
I love their friendship!

I agree! Thank goodness two out of the seven are good!
And yes I’m also glad I got time this weekend! :D
