Matt | 1 comments What's everyone currently reading? I just got Nelson Mandela's "Long Walk to Freedom" in the mail. Looks like I'll be busy with that for awhile!

Tara Lanphar | 2 comments That's definitely a longer read. Should be well worth it though, it's supposed to be a great book!

I'm about halfway through Nella Larsen's "Passing" and I highly recommend it so far. It's beautiful writing and enthralling considering it's short length (about 100 pages).

Barbarian Librarian (charliethewarlock) | 1 comments I'm reading Glen Cook's "The Black Company", which has been pretty entertaining... and moderately depressing. I'd recommend it to anyone in the mood for gritty, dark fantasy.

Yeah, I just read the synopsis for that one...gritty and dark indeed! Are you planning on reading any more in the series?

I am flying through Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia. I don't normally read horror but I am loving this book!!!

Devon | 2 comments I just finished "An Absolutely Remarkable Thing" by Hank Green - which was recommended by someone (I have no idea who, but thank you!) and it was fabulous. Kind of an upbeat, science fiction bit about a trendy, graphic designer who stumbles upon a sculpture in New York that turns out to be a space alien.

A big part of the book is about the polarizing effect this presence has on the world - bringing some together and turning other people into hateful conspiracy theorists - which was weirdly relevant to real life right now... 2 Thumbs, way up!
