Thoughts on the book so far

Thankfully there's a lot more plot in these chapters. The mystery is going somewhere, and some questions are resolved. Like finally it's revealed that Mina's mom is religious, and that may be part of why Mina kept her secret and didn't tell anyone about her sexuality and her feelings for Sophie.

I have a suspicion about this whole Jackie thing, and answering that obviously answers who killed Mina, so I'll be interested to find out if I'm right (since right now there's nothing but instinct that is making me think this person did it).

There is definitely a lot of creepy and/or suspicious people though in this small town. Haha. The paper's editor guy? Creepy. Jackie's grandfather? Creepy. So that's amusing.

I like that we are getting deeper into the plot too! And yes, I'm starting to feel like we have a few people who are sketchy and could be involved in this somehow, which is what you want out of a murder mystery!

I don't think Matt the boyfriend did it, but I'm not sure why. I just feel like that would be too obvious, I don't know.

I'm curious about your suspicions, but also don't want you to tell me yet cause I'm scared I'll accidentally spoil myself, cause I never see it coming in murder mysteries, even though I am such a fan of the genre.
