Hey fellow readers! With regards to There's Something in the Water: Environmental Racism in Indigenous & Black Communities, I found that it was easiest to get it directly from the publisher, Fernwood Publishing (an indie publisher in Nova Scotia, Canada - they ship worldwide).
You can also find the book at most major Canadian or Canada-specific book retailers (Chapters, Kobo, Amazon.ca), but I haven't seen a used version anywhere. You can get it in paper or as an epub. The only discount I've found so far is a few dollars off if you get the Kindle version.
If you're Canadian, you might be able to find a copy at your public library (mine has the paper and digital format). And, most libraries have a way for patrons to suggest a purchase, though they may not get the book in time for the book discussion (especially as many libraries are still working on re-opening).
Side note: Yes, you really can suggest purchases to your public library. You have to have a library card and there are usually some restrictions (at my library , it has to have been published in the past 10 years and I can only suggest 5 items per month ... or 1 items every two weeks on Overdrive, which is for ebooks/audiobooks). There's no guarantee that they'll purchase it as libraries are typically under-funded, but it's worth asking. They usually have a specific page on their website for making suggestions.
Happy reading!

Announcement for our next books.
The first choice will the The Uninhabitable Earth by David Wallace-wells
The second choice will by There's Something in the Water by Ingrid Waldron.
This was initially going to be our first choice but it's proving difficult to get hold of (member Anne will likely post below with some advice on how to source it). We chose the Uninhabitable earth based on suggestions both on here and our instragram page.
We'll go back to some polls to choose them next time though!
Discussion date will be 11th October to give enough time to catch up, source the book(s) and obviously read both if you fancy!
Lots of love,
Fran and Adrienne
