Under the scorching sun, red sand gleamed with barely suppressed heat. Along the way, you would probably spot some lush green cactus and vibrant tropical beauties but touch them and you will taste the power of their intense poison.

Dry and bright, the rocks are cracked and sizzle merrily under the merciless sun. Not one speck of grass grows naturally. Everything is either carefully nurtured or drastically barren. Walk ahead and you might spot a faint glimmer of water but no, everything is merely a mirage. An illusion.

Being nicknamed the Valley of Death, an oasis is foreign here. Persevere all you like but your search for water will be disappointingly fruitless. The view is magnificent though, with curves and boulders of rock reaching towards the skyline, majestic canyons stretched out for thousands of miles, the sun a burning red ball during sunrise, the stars glinting like diamonds embroidered on a piece of inky dark silk cloth...

The wonders of this place is endless but just remember, for every beauty, there might be unknown dangers lurking behind...
