Oh! I just realized this is coming up this weekend! This will be a great boost for me to finish off some books I really need to finish.I still have a few days before this starts, but I need to work on:
The Coast-to-Coast Murders, ARC publishes 21st
The Lake House, book club read
Unbroken, F2F book club if we can finally manage a meeting
Now to find a book that fits the challenges... maybe Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder??
Starting my RAT week with The Coast-to-Coast Murders. I didn't want to put it down last night and then I couldn't sleep! I'm planning to read it earlier in the day today. What is everyone else reading?
Starting the RAT with Convenience Store Woman to complete the first challenge! I read 22% already this morning and I plan on finishing it today, it is a fairly short and easy to read book.
I've been struggling so much with reading ever since the Wheel ended and now that grad school started... so this is at the perfect time! I've read a bit of The Henna Wars today already & listened to The Black Kids :)
Thanks, Aiswrya :) I actually somehow just managed to finish a book! Listened to the second half of The Black Kids while cleaning my house.
Can we please have our individual tracking posts linked in the participants post (post 2) instead of our profile pages. They were always linked to individual tracking posts in the past for easy acess so players wouldn't have to keep scrolling down .

Is The Guest List good, Connie?
I finished The Coast-to-Coast Murders today and it was quite a wild ride. It had a lot of twists and was very fast paced, but there were a few inconsistencies due to how many twists there were. Also, there were a lot of potential triggers in this one.
My Coast-to-Coast Murders review
I'm currently reading Pachinko. It is a thick book so my progress is slow. Yesterday I only read 84 pages (15%). I hope to read at least 100 pages today. :)

I felt that the Guest List didn't live up to the hype. It was ok in my opinion. There were many points of view and it took a looooong time to get to the good stuff.
Thanks! I keep seeing it pop up in my feed so thought I'd inquire. No rush then to bump it up on my "must read". I find it aggravating when it takes a long time to get to the good stuff.
I just finished Older Sister. Not Necessarily Related.: A Memoir which I read for a class and holy moly, it was incredible. Beautifully written, really painful and tough to read at times, but gripping throughout. If you're in any way interested in adoption narratives (or even just anti-colonial writing), I'd highly recommend this!
My reading has slowed to an absolute snails pace over the last couple of weeks. Not sure how to kick start it again, but hopefully will find my mojo with it again soon

Sorry only just noticed the question here! Just listing as you go is fine.
