I read this book a long time ago and would love it if I could find it again! I think it is part of a series...

Ok wait is it by any chance called "The Grimm Legacy"? I read that book a while ago and think it kind of matches your description. There was definitely time travel and a library involved...also I'm pretty sure there's a sequel.
