I like romances where it is mostly just implied and then the reader can just ship characters---if that makes any sense
But I LOVE sci-fi and dystopian

one book that I had read recently that had me so disappointed was Doctor Sleep by Stephen King. I wanted so bad for it to be good but it just wasn't.
I don't enjoy Shakespeare or poetry much. I don't hate them, I just avoid them. Otherwise, I always look up the book online to see if I think I'll enjoy it. I've never been disappointed when I do that.
I agree! Everyone has their own opinion, but I just don't enjoy his books. Back in the Stone Ages, when I was in high school, Shakespeare was required reading. I could never finish his books. There was no internet back then, so I used Cliff Notes instead of reading the whole book.

Then again, I wondered that about lots of subjects! 😂 Do they still have Home Economics classes~culinary arts and sewing? I was good at cooking. Sewing was a disaster for me! My "big" sewing project was a cloth book cover. I figured it would be easy, with all straight edges. I thought wrong. My completed project looked lovely, but somehow I ended up sewing the end flaps shut and I could not put the cover on a book!😆🤣😂🤦♀️📖📚😊

IBM made HUGE business machines the size of a wall. Multi colored punch cards had to be inserted and data was transferred to those cards. Times have really changed!
The thing that scares me is "self-driving" vehicles! What if something goes wrong and the car or truck doesn't stop or follow traffic patterns?😳
