Play Book Tag discussion

The Beast Within: A Tale of Beauty's Prince is a retelling of Beauty and the Beast, with a focus on the Beast. We learn why and how the prince was gradually turned into a beast, and how his household staff was enchanted. I would have liked to see more of his relationship with Belle, but the scene in the library should appeal to all book lovers. I might want to revisit the original (pre-disney) story someday too, without the enchantments of household items.

I liked the first two stories by this author, but I had to abandon a later one. She creates an overarching story combining witches and villains from disparate stories (bringing Ursula out of the sea, into the Odd Sisters castle?!). It didn't work for me. The original stories were lost.
