I thought we could 'discuss' authors here, cuz it would've been kind of weird, to you know, just babble on about authors on at a normal chat, like me 'discussing' Alan Gratz. Believe I could go on and on.

good thinking. I'm afraid alan gratz is on my tbr, but i haven't read it yet. I have the Allies one I think.
Honestly, Allies was kind of confusing. Personally, I'd recommend Grenade, or Projekt 1065. Refugee was good too.

Yeah, I do know Margaret Peterson Haddix. Whew, that name is big. Can we call her 'Big M' or something?
Sure, Big M it is. I like Among the Hidden best in her books. Kind of reminds me of WWII. Population Police being the Nazis, and the 'rebels' being the resistance.
heard about it somewhere. wow just searched it up i'll definitely read it. Also, this is really weird and i'm disappointing the reading community, but i watched more WW movies than books. Like the strategy ones with lots of 'Aye Aye Captain' and stuff. Also Jojo Rabbit.
I'm jealous. I don't watch lots of movies. I heard about the movie, Greyhound. Have you sen it? If so, is it good? But I do like to watch war documentaries. It shows like actual photos from battlefields, and stuff, and it's so depressing. If that isn't enough, they show Jewish concentration camps, with photos of gas chambers and stuff. I don't know why this topic interests me, but I LIKE to watch these. Something is definitely wrong with me.
I have watched Greyhound. But it's more based on ships and strategy, there are no 'real' war scenes and i don't think it's a true story, lol. It's cool but if you don't like strategy stuff you probably won't like it or understand it. (I liked it but I didn't understand, like, 30% of it.) So, you're not missing out on much. And no, there is nothing wrong with that hobby, i watch things like these too. (Except there is something wrong with me.)But if you do want to watch a movie, watch Jojo Rabbit. Ah, perfection.
I just watched the trailer. It looks so amazing! I bet the character that Rebel Wilson plays is hilarious. I hope I can watch it sometime soon!!!!
Yeah, she was really good in night of the museum. Serious roles don't seem to be her strong suit though. Have y'all ever read any books by Wendy Mass? She's a pretty good writer. Her twice upon a time books are really interesting. Have any of you ever read the twisted tales series with Liz Braswell, Jen Calonita, and Elizabeth Lim? I think they look cool and was thinking about trying one and was just wondering if any of y'all have read them. Also Minerva, do you have a favorite World War book you would recommend?
If you want YA, I would recommend a book by Mandy Robotham. And don't worry about chossing, she only wrote like, 3 books. And for not-really-YA, I'd recommend Projekt 1065.
