And like it was so out of love and consent and perfect and jut hopeful and showed true love and idk what other ppl are on

And those lines, "to love someone enough to die from the force of it"... I just loved it! I don't get what is their problem. Like "the beach scene" has been made into a whole thing!

If people complain about this one...have they come across ACOMAF. Or is that now marketed as NA?

Technically ACOTAR can fall into YA or NA but since stores don’t have NA sections it’s found in YA.
After the new covers at my book store it’s hilarious when I went the old covers you can find in YA and the new ones in Adult😂

I’m on my re-read of Empire of Storms finally and I forgot how much of a butthead Lord Darrow is in this! He keeps dissing Aelins court and Aelin herself. And trying to keep her from her rightful claim to the throne. He’s just an all around butthead! 😤

Like he is really just rude All around. Calling Lysandra a whore and talking crap about Rowan and even Aedion saying he whored himself out. It’s like he’s doing it on purpose to get Aelin to attack him. I know Darrow kind of redeems himself later on and he’s really sweet to Evangeline but there is no reason for how he treated Aelin and her court 😤

It’s kinda ironic though how in the span of one short meeting, he managed to insult Aelin, Rowan, Aedion, and Lysandra and yet he walked away from it still breathing.

Guys, I just reread EoS and I can't...I can't -- my heart is broken, shattered, in pieces!

The ending; I forgot about the pain and all of the sorrow and rage that was in those last chapters...I didn't forget the scenes, but I did forget what I felt afterward, and now, now I don't know what to do with myself...
And even though I know what happens next, even though I've read everything before, it still breaks my heart and I'M SOBBING!!!


Maas, why do you have to be such an amazing author?! Cause I feel so much when I read these and it's horrible and yet so good! Whyyyy???????

The battle scene with Lysandra as the sea dragon against the sea wyverns 😰😰😰😰. I don’t think I’ve ever read so fast. My heart was beating out of my chest!! I have a lot of appreciation for the intense action in these books.

Just finished this and now my heart is breaking, I just have to finish tower of dawn and then I’m onto kingdom of ash😭😭😭

The scene on the beach completely broke me. A little part of my soul will never recover. I a dumb dumb was too lazy to do the tandem read so I had to read Tower of Dawn before getting resolution.

But oh my gosh stellar writing! SJM breaking me again in the best way. I have a hot take on the secret wedding, but this book is perfection through and through.

Empire of storms is my fav! So much happening and the first time I read it I just got left broken by the end of it. Such a good book, can't wait to reread it!!♡
