Middlemist Academy of Flora discussion

Annoyed by the previous occurrence in the hall, Ivy stomped into the Nightshade common room, the House she had been assigned. Nightshade. The evil House, huh? She looked around the room, slightly impressed, but not really. Ivy flopped onto the couch and kicked her feet up on the table with a loud thump.

Lucen was stuck on the bottom of her right shoe for the entirety of the trip. Luckily, due to him already being dead and his code, it didn't hurt as much as it would've to a normal person if they were shrunk and he was mostly fine, so it was more of a small waste of time by not being able to do anything.

But after a short while, when she sat down and put her shoes on a table, he was finally able to free himself from his squished state on her shoe. After a short while, he fell onto the table from her shoe and looked back towards her shoes at a position where they blocked his view of her. He then said under his breath to himself "Alright, try this again." He moved to another point on the table where she could see him and shouted near the top of his lungs, but a little less this time since he was closer by being on the table, so his voice sounded normal again "Hello, my name is Lucen, may I ask yours Miss?"

Maddie came in tired but not tired so she sat down and continued sketching whatever it was turning out to be

Ivy closed her eyes, thinking. Mainly about what a weird and crazy place this academy was, but also of the trouble she could- no, more like would- cause. A voice a close quarters startled Ivy out of her thoughts. It wasn’t the other girl who had just entered, then who? She looked around in confusion before spotting a small...thing...on the table in front of her. “Oh my-” In seconds, Ivy was on her feet glaring at the little thing. Was that seriously a living creature? She stood a few steps away, peering down on it in disgust. And did it just talk?

(Now I'm thinking about Sunny's reaction to him. XD Probably a bit more positive than this. XD)

Lucen sighed to himself and understood that not all of the students were present at the auditorium for the initial greeting and this has happened with some students before as well, since he is around as small as a tiny bug. He rubbed the back of his Defender helmet and did the same as before to talk normally "Yea, sorry about the surprise, I'm lucky you didn't squish me again." The other student walking in didn't seem to notice him as well, but he was more sorry towards this student for surprising her for a second time.

Ivy wrinkled her nose in a frown and knelt down, trying to get eye-level with the creature. “Y-You’re alive?” She looked at it incredulously, trying to make out what it was. Wait, did it seriously have a helmet? Was it a little man? Or rather, a little ghost? Now that would be creepy. There was no way any human or dryad could be that tiny...right? Squish him again? Is that how he got in here? Was he the voice from before? Ivy stared at the thing. “Are you... Are you actually a person?”

(Alright, just tell me when you want to have him be with Sunny instead, as he could probably just leave if Ivy lets him. XD Yep, it would be a nice change of pace for him. :) )

Lucen watched the student kneel down and get closer to him to see him better. He didn't mind her looking at him as all she would be able to see would be his armor and helmet along with the blade latched onto his back and maybe the slight flickers of color from his eyes, right now they were a strange orange but then changed slightly to more of a blue. With all this he looked like a ghostly defender or knight.

He responded to her question by using his normal volume voice again while lowering his hand from his helmet "Well, I'm a ghost, but I guess you could say I'm alive, since I'm a bit more physical than most ghosts." She actually seemed a slight bit nicer than what her frown, which seemed huge to him, would suggest, but then again, she was just asking questions. He could understand her curiosity as well, since it's not like he knows of another tiny ghost like him.

Ivy stared at the little ghost, barely believing her eyes. He was just so...tiny. From close up, she could see the real-life armor he wore, and could make out that, really, he was a little being. A little Knight at that. “Well how’d you get so freakin’ midget size?” Ivy held back a snicker. “Did you get shrunk in the dryer or something?” Ivy saw the little ghost’s eyes change from an odd orange to a more normal blue. Ok, now that’s weird. “And what in the world were you doing, sneaking up on me in the hall like that?” Ivy didn’t realize that the ghost probably wasn’t sneaking, he was just so small she didn’t even notice him.

(Ok. :) I'm fine with that. :) Just tell me when you want to make the switch from Ivy to Sundew. :) Ruh-roh! XD)

Lucen responded with his normal voice while his eyes changed to a purplish color "Well..." He was silent for a short while before continuing to himself in a whisper "Code." Just as soon as he said the word, he was wrapped by translucent purple chains which caused him to be restricted and put him down to his knees. He responded to the other question in a strained voice as he started to stand back up, resisting the chains and causing some of pieces to disappear "I was... going to say... hello, but... this happened... without the word...causing me to.. get stuck." By his last words he managed to free himself from most of the chains but he still did have a few pieces on him.
