This sounds great! I think I have a zombie book on my reading list already. Can't wait for more book recommendations!

The challenge will go live after midnight tonight. You can then go to it by clicking the link at the start of this thread to sign up.
You pick how many books you think you'll read, then create a shelf on your My Books page with 2020 Halloween Season Reading Challenge (or whatever works for you) as the title. Then, when you read a book that matches the criteria, check the box for that shelf under the dropdown menu from the Want to read/ read button.
I hope I explained that right. If not, anyone else feel free to step in and explain it correctly. :D
You can also come back to this thread to talk about the books you're reading or get ideas from other peeps.

Awesome! Not sure if I can actually read 5, as October brings both some needed company and a trip, but I'll try!- Scarecrow
- Monster
- Treats/Tricks
This is Halloween by James A. Moore I just started this, and so far, it has satisfied both the Scarecrow and the Treats/Tricks! (Hmmm, are they 2 separate items?) (Finished!)-Jack O'Lantern / Pumpkin
Hallows Eve by Al Sarrantonio will be my 2nd and possibly 3rd book. I've read the first book (last Halloween), so I've started on "Hallow's Eve," the second book in the omnibus. (And I've finished the 2nd book!)- Ghost
- Graveyard
- Haunted Attraction/House
- Witch
The House by the Cemetery by John Everson will satisfy those 4 categories! (Finished!)- Cats
The Cats by Nick Sharman fulfills the "Cats" category! (Finished!)-Monster
Project Nemesis by Jeremy Robinson will probably be my last book, fulfilling the "Monster" category. I doubt I'll get to the Bats, but oh well, I can't do everything & take a trip down south! (Finished!)Although I've read the 5 books I pledged, I'll continue to read this book, because I've still got 1 category unread:
- Bats!!!
Bats by William W. Johnstone.Yahoo!!! I conquered the Halloween Challenge!!!
