Hi Dawn!I'm intrigued to see where this group goes.
Your comment bout one body and we should thrive is a good one. I know myself I need help with things. I seem to have turned into the queen of procratination. If anyone knows of a way to get past that, please tell me. I also know that I need help just making myself do things that would benefit myself, like exercise. I have a treadmill and bike in my basement, no excuse not to use them, other than I don't want to and I'm lazy. It sort of leads back to the procrastination.
Each Sunday night I plan out my week, am not overly ambitious, even put on easy things, like water the plants, but there are still things that never get crossed off, like walking on the treadmill. I even have more time as due to covid my part time 2nd job is gone. I work from home now, so no commute. No excuses for a lot of stuff other than I don't want to. Need help/advice on how a person changes their mind into "no" to "yes, let's do that right now".
On a side note about 7 years ago I changed on getting chemicals out of my house and make a lot of my cleaners and even beauty products. I feel that was a good thing. I'm working on making more changes to food, eating real food, but sometimes a girl just wants plain white bread with american cheese for a grilled cheese. About as nutrionally deficient as something can be. And I have one casserole that uses velveta, so bad for you, but so good. Some of the choices I find I make are the equivilent to having a hot fudge sundae, extra fudge and whipped cream with a diet coke. But as always I try.

Thanks for joining the group. I started this group as a solution for myself. My books about health and healing on my bookshelf are a mess. As I started straightening them out I thought other people may be interested in having conversations. Initially, I thought I would just jump in with a group but I did not see what I was looking for so I started this one.
About me, the path from illness to wellness is hard and it transforms people both who experience it and those who witness it. We have only one body and perhaps foolishly I believe it should thrive. I also believe our bodies are super amazing and we are only just beginning to understand its complexity.
Looking forward to learning about the journey into wellness.
