I'm planning on reading Atonement i week 11 also. And I haven't seen the movie either, so I don't know the story, but I also think the plot sounds interesting, so I'm looking forward to read it!
I too have never seen the movie, and this book has been sitting on my bookshelf for years. Time to finally get through it!
Thanks for the suggestion. Haven't read it or seen the movie. Look forward to hearing what you think of the book!
I've seen the movie! But I haven't read the book. The movie's so painfully sad for me that I have no plans of reading the book.
I realized the other day that I actually have seen the movie, but it must have been some years ago because I can't remember all of it. So I'm still planning on reading the book!
Such a great book. I have tried several of his others and none were quite the same or as good. Enjoy!
This is one of the rare occasions where I infinitely preferred the movie to the book. The book just didn't do it for me.
