I read that book and I thought it was pretty good and the book didn’t give me nightmares lol

Anyone else find the ending disappointing? (view spoiler)[I didn’t care enough about the murderer as a child and having him be the teaching assistant seemed to come out of no where.

I did enjoy his friendly family member ghosts. (hide spoiler)]

It’s on audible so it will be next read.

Up to page 194. I certainly wasn't expecting the revelation about the relationship!
And, good grief, that 'traffic light' system at the school seems a bit machiavellian!

I'm starting it this morning, started off very well.

I finished today. I really feel that it could have been creepier. There were a few missed opportunities. I did enjoy the palpable air of menace that Jake's abductor emanated. Probably will write my review tomorrow but won't post the link for it here until everyone else has finished.

I'm just over halfway through now and it's really getting creepy. I actually told a coworker to go away (in a nice way) once it got to the cliffhanger at the middle of the book.
