It is almost time for our October Team Readathon! Please sign up below if you would like to participate! Sign ups will close on 9/29, and teams will be announced.

This readathon will be themed, so all books read will need to fall under the theme options (listed below). The readathon will take place from October 1st to October 31st. We will also be having the optional prompts again to gain additional points for your team.

Themes:
Since Halloween is in October, we decided to have a themed readathon. All books read must fall into one of the following themes/genres-
~Horror
~Thriller
~Set during/involve Halloween
~Supernatural (vampires, werewolves, witches, etc.)
~Ghost Story/Stories
~Set during Fall

Page Points: (Thanks to Evelyn for this awesome suggestions!)
Each book you read can gain you a different amount of extra points based on the number of pages- (ex. if you read a book with 300 pages, you will get one point for finishing the book and 2 extra points for the number of pages, so 3 points in total. Points from any prompts you complete will also be added) Books between 150 and 249 pages do not gain you any extra page points.
~250-350 = 1 points
~351-450 = 2 points
~451-550 = 3 points
~551-650 = 4 points
~651-750 = 5 points
~751 or more = 6 points

Rules:
1) All books MUST be 150 pages or longer
2) Comic and mangas ARE welcome but the same rule is applied above
3) Books are only counted in the time frame of October 1st to October 31st.
4) Re - reads are allowed
5) You must start the books in October and finish them within the time frame.
6) If you sign-up, please be active! If you don't think you can participate fully, don't sign up
7) Books are not required to be YA
8) Read! Read! Read! And enjoy yourself!

I'll join too! And just a little suggestion, maybe you guys could base the points off of how many pages the book is. So like 150-250 is 1 point 251-350 is 2 points or something like that just because 150 pages and 500 pages is a big difference :)

Hi! I have a question. Would books with Nephilim be counted under the Supernatural area? (basically--can i read the Mortal Insturments (Shadowhunter novels) for this if i sign up?)

I think those would count! They also have vampires and werewolves in them...so you should be good!
