i didn't really like this book. it was okay, but i don't understand the hype. i love the movie, catching fire is one of my favourite films of all time, but the book was just straight up boring. i really wished i liked thsi book more than i did

Agree with you there, although it would be hard to match the excitement and the action in the Hunger Games, I felt like this one lost its way and didn't really engage me.

I just borrowed The Hunger Games from Libby. Let's see if I can finish it in time to begin Catching Fire...

The Hunger Games I finished quite fast. Catching Fire got very boring somewhere near the beginning/middle. It got faster near the middle/end.
