Story Spotlight is a very special program that is exclusive to our group in which every aspiring author can get special attention and feedback on their stories to help improve their writing. I have been oober busy today, so I haven’t gotten the chance to upload today’s prompt. It will be out by 5:45 EST today, and it’ll be somewhat of a game since it’s the weekend. For now, you may start reading and reviewing next week’s Story Spotlight... Assassin’s Coven #1 by Christiana. I will create a folder tonight or tomorrow for you to officially leave your reviews. Alright, a few announcements for the day:

1. Goodreads notifications have been down lately, so you may respond to today’s prompt tomorrow if you’d like rather than today, although there will be another prompt uploaded tomorrow. Today’s prompt will be out by 6:00 PM EST October 4th

2. Our very first Story Spotlight begins today with Christina’s story Assassin’s Coven #1!

VERY SERIOUS AND IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Okay, guys, I have a very serious announcement for you all. I put out a poll about Christina’s story, and someone thought it would be funny to add “IT SUCKS” as an answer. I know it was a joke, but that is not funny. Christina’s story was fantastic, and even if it’s a joke, bashing someone’s hard work is not okay. The poll has been taken down because of this. Please do not do this again or there will be no more polls in this group. This is supposed to be a safe place for aspiring authors, and I don’t want to ruin that, Thank you :)

We are very excited to announce that this week we will be reading Lady Rose by Ken for our Story Spotlight! You may still read and review Christina’s Assassin’s Coven #1 for points if you’d like, but right now we’re focusing on Lady Rose. I’m trying out some new things and we may transition the group entirely to Story Spotlight. There will be many polls, activities, and questions this week about Ken’s book to keep everyone excited and help Ken out. Can’t wait to read it with you all! (Side note: Christina, you may get a free Story Spotlight claim since we are now adding more to the program that you weren’t a part of)
