Shelves upon shelves of books to but from. Crisp pages and the smell of new books, come on in and get your pick!

Robin and Chrystal enter.

She smiles and heads to the art section.

He follows, feeling defeated. Robin didn’t know where exactly they were going.

"This is the art section, find a book." She points.

"There's an art section?" He furrowed his eyebrows.

"Yes."

"Wow," Robin breathed, looking at the collection of books. "Help me pick one."

Shhe pulled one off the shelf about lighting, shadows and shading.

He leaned over her shoulder, looking at it. "That actually looks kinda interesting."

"Because you have never found the right book." She looks pontedly at him

He rolled his eyes sighing. "I blame it on Laavi for only reading fiction. All the time."

“Well, you can’t blame Laavi though, it’s your fault for not exploring, also, this is one of my favorites,” She pulls a book off the shelf titled, The Art of Drawing. “This is one of the first art books I read, It’s basics, yes, but it looks at art differently than most books I’ve seen.” She looks at him and hands him the books, “Pick one, or both.”

Robin considers it for a while and finally decides: “I’ll take both, anything you wanna buy?”

She thinks for a moment then walks to the back of the store and scans the shelves.

He follows silently, looking at the shelves with a newfound wonder.

She sees the book see wants, a book about 500 pages long with the title Divergent, “I’ve heard this is a good book.” She smiles and grabs his arm going to another section of the store.

“Pretty sure Laavi’s read it too,” he said, remembering how the same book was sitting on her desk not too long ago. “Isn’t it a series or something?”

She laughs walking up to the checkout line, “Yes it is, and I intend to finish it.”
((Have you read it? TBH I’ve read the first and last book, but I’ve seen the first and second movies.))

“Of course you do,” he chuckled, following her.
((Yeah, I’ve read and watched all three, but in the end the books were definitely better for me))

“What do you mean?” She asked as she paid for the books, she thanked the man at the counter and handed Robin his books.

“I mean you haven’t even started it and you already plan on finishing all three,” he explained, taking his books.
((Actual quote from my friend who just won’t read… I don’t think I’ve ever looked more disappointed))

Chrystal laughed softly, elbowing his ribs. “Guess what time it is?” She asks in a sing-songy voice.

He looks at her curiously, an amused smile playing on his lips. “What time is it, Chrystal?”

“Time for me to stop being a perfect little angle and not study.” She smiles and walks out of the bookstore.

Robin gasps dramatically, “Whoa! Such a rebel!” he exclaims, his voice dripping with sarcasm.

She pushes him, no to hard but enough to make him stumble, “For your information, I’ve never missed a study session in my life.”

“That… proves my point,” he laughed, shoving her back.

SHe squawks, “What point, I’m letting you off the hook for now you know that, right?”

He chuckled, “Thank you for letting me off the hook.” Robin paused, looking around. “So where to next?”

“Actually, I just want to wander.” Chrystal steps closer to him.

“Hmm, should we stay at the mall, or leave?” He asks, slipping his hand into hers.

“I don’t really care right now,” She looks at him. “You can choose.”

“But I don’t know where to go,” he whines.

“That’s the point of wandering, you don’t know where to go so your feet take you,” She explains then has an idea. “I know, clothes!” She pulls him toward the clothes store.

“Oh ok then,” he follows her into the clothes store, “I guess we’re shopping.”

“Actually never mind I want to go back to the Academy.” She spins on her heal and walks back the way they came.

“Uh, okayy,” he dragged the last word on, “Let’s go to the gardens, then.”

“Sure,” she pulls him out of the mall and towards the gardens. “Let’s go”
