The Procrastinators Book Club discussion

Welcome to the The Unbound Buddy Read Discussion thread! This thread officially opens on October 17th and anyone can join at any time. Please keep in mind that spoilers are allowed in this thread but only up to the group's current reading place. Do not spoil the book if you've read further than the group. Any extra days can be used to catch up!

Each day we will be reading by chapters or page numbers. Page numbers are an approximation based on the hardcover or paperback that is the default on Goodreads. The suggested Buddy Read discussion schedule is as follows:

I'm starting this a bit late in the day, but I'm starting it.

I don’t think I’ll be able to get into this today - I’ll make up for it tomorrow though!

I read the first 10 chapters. And I like what I read so far.

(view spoiler)[ I didn't have any expectations. I didn't even think where and about what this book will be, well beyond the Histories. So I'm surprised we are added to a school and that we have more people. And I'm glad we are seeing more of Wesley, or at least we are seeing there's a lot of him that we don't know. (hide spoiler)]

Ok I'm a bad buddy for this hahahah I picked this up today and couldn't put it down and I finished it!

I really did enjoy meeting more characters...and Wes is such a sweetheart I can't!

I'll wait for more of your thoughts heheh

I LOVE Schwab's writing, I'm sure I already said this but there's something about her writing that's just amazing to me. I know I had the same feeling when I read Monsters of Verity. Maybe it's the fact that the characters feel real too me, or maybe that the romance is not pushed, or maybe it's all that and who knows what more but I need more books like this.

I like how we saw her breaking down after the whole Owen thing, although I didn't particularly enjoy it yesterday because I was in a not nice mood and it hit me a bit harder than it would normally.

I didn't know there was a third book, or maybe I did but forgot about it because I added the first book on my tbr in 2018. How are we supposed to wait that long for the third book? We don't even have a year.

Yes! I love all her books , even though they’re all very different!

I know! I really hope she comes out with it!

Yes, I did.. and we got to know some things about Wes from his pov.. but his name 😂😂
