Hey Guys, Just started this today and I'm two chapters in, about forty pages. This is a re-read for me, I had to read this in high school, and it was and still is one of my favorites.
The whole first chapter of this book is introductions from each character's point of view and i totally forgot that this is how it's written.
This time around, since I forget how it ends anyway, I'm writing down the characters or highlighting them in Chapter 1, whatever, to keep track of them.
Forgot also that this book is littered with "clues" as soon as you start reading. Might re-read the intros again when I get a little bit further in the book to try and better keep track.

I’m on chapter seven now.. and i love the figures on the dining table and the poem. but i can’t stop thinking about where the people are putting the bodies once they pass lmao.. not important but are they just staying where they died ?
I kept thinking that too LOL but i think they’re putting them in their beds? I just finished chapter 12. I also really like the poem and the figures. I don’t like blore i think he’s crazy. Idk if he’s the murderer or not but just mentally ~unstable~
They put them back in their beds in their rooms! It's actually an important thing to note. I finished up just yesterday.
Rachel, I love Blore! lol I don't why, but he's one of my favorites in the whole thing.
I hate Lombard....I think he's so arrogant.
Rachel wrote: "I just finished!! Idk what it is it may just be a me thing but i love epilogues"YAY! I've been waiting for someone to be done so badly. I won't post any spoilers....but would have had a mental breakdown if the epilogue did not exist.
SPOILER !!!!
Can someone explain what happened to the little soldiers? So the judge kept going down to get rid of them in secret after he “died”? lol

After his fake death, none were disappearing! He tossed the one when he broke the window after drowning Armstrong (or it may have been before) and then when Vera got back to the house she broke two and held onto her own
Mac arthur is an idiot ... I liked him for some reason throughout the book, but he ruined it for everyone. Also .. Carly can vouch for me.. I guessed it was the judge from the beginning and i’m very proud of that
I high key forgot about MacArthur omg And i honestly didn’t know i kept coming up with excuses for why it def wouldn’t be someone
However now that i think about it, i never came up with a reason for why it wouldn’t be wargrave other then the fact that he’s old and turtle-y
I told Julie that I had a problem with him saying that he was running by the rooms making just enough noise to wake someone up on purpose and then Lombard catches him going out the door. Uhhh cutting it realllly close there lol
Me too. When i was reading the epilogue i was wondering at what point did he decide that he was gonna tell Armstrong what was going on? And based on inner thoughts it never seemed like Armstrong knew anything
Because that was a really risky move too. Wargrave told Armstrong, if Armstrong didn’t agree to be an accomplice than he could have told everyone and saved them. It seems weird he would risk his life and others to be an accomplice to murder, he doesn’t have a motive like Wargrave.
I really enjoyed this book. It was a fast and fun read. I literally finished it in one day because I needed to find out who was doing the killing and how it was done. I suspected the judge, but I wasn't 100% sure. He seemed old and frail to be able to commit all the crimes. I definitely want to read some other Agatha Christie books. I think the other most famous one is "Murder on the Orient Express".
