Introduce Yourself!

I JUST finished Addie LaRue and it's my favourite book of the year. Crescent City and The City We Became close behind. :D

My absolute favs in terms of fantasy are the broken earth trilogy (basically anything NK Jemisin), the sword of kaigen (destroyed meeee), spinning silver and elantris!

One of my fave fantasy books is Assassin's Apprentice

My favorite fantasy would have to be the hobbit currently. Its my most recent fantasy read and one that I very much would reread!

I am absolutely terrible at choosing favorites, but I'm very fixated on the mortal instruments series as a whole right now because my current reread reminded me how special they were to me years ago. Another recent fave of mine would also have to be the kingdom of back!

I've actually read the first book of the series before, but I never continued. So I'm really excited to finally get to the last two books in this trilogy.
My favorite fantasy books are Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor and A Crown of Wishes by Roshani Chokshi.

I'm Christina and I'm from the US. I read a bit of everything, but mostly literary fiction, contemporary, thrillers, and fantasy. I don't know if it's my favorite, but I finally got around to reading Six of Crows and I don't know why I didn't read it sooner!

I mostly read fantasy and romance. My favorites include books by Maria V Snyder, Brandon Sanderson and V E Schwab.

I really love the cosmere books by Brandon Sanderson
And the wayward children series is just awesome in my opinion.
I also read horror , thriller and mystery books 📚

I had the first book on my shelf for weeks but was waiting for the winter months to read it, so this is perfect.
Can't wait to talk to you all about it :)
My favorite genre is definitely fantasy but it's so hard to choose a favorite book...there's too many I love!

I have a 4 year old and I do most of my reading via audiobooks. I read mostly ya fantasy. I love books with magic systems and fae.

i'm looking forward to reading much more and really finding out what genres I love (in between procrastinating Uni work) :)

Priory is one of my favorites too!

I actually do not read a lot of fantasy, but a couple of my favorites that I have read is the Caraval series and Serpent & Dove trilogy. I find myself leaning more toward YA, contemporary and thrillers. But, I am still very much excited to do this readathon and checking out this series for the first time.
I have a link tree in my profile for all my links (bookstagram, twitter, YouTube) if anyone is interested!

I'm a serial bits-n-pieces reader. Put words on a page and I'll read it. Although, I do have a soft spot for historical fiction, particularly if there's a bit of mischief or murder!
Fantasy wise, I think I could read Phillip Pullman forever.
Very keen to read this trilogy! My only dilemma is which edition to buy - has there ever been a book with so many beautiful versions?!

I read a pretty wide range of genres but just started trying fantasy this year (although I read some when I was a kid). I haven't meshed with a lot of the fantasy I've read this year though, but The Bear and the Nightingale sounds really fun! The one fantasy I really fell in love with was The House in the Cerulean Sea (but who hasn't?!). Looking forward to reading this series together!

I read pretty much everything except for pure romance and sci-fi. I'm looking forward to this readalong as the trilogy is on my TBR forever. So cool to finally get to it!.

it's so amazing reading all your introductions!! I can't wait to start this readalong with all of you🥳🥳

I am so excited to take part in this read-a-long🤍
I am still trying to understand what my favorite genres are haha

I read YA and Adult books, mostly fantasy and sci-fi, but I also like to get into romance every now and then. Some of my faves are Mistborn, ACOTAR and most recently the Iluminae Files have won a special place in my reader heart.
I'm looking forward to talking about this trilogy with you all since I've heard nothing but good things about.

Fantasy is definitely my favourite genre but I do like to break this up with a contemporary from time to time! My favourite book of all time is Six of Crows!

This is the first time I'm participating in a readlong and I just can't wait to read this books along with so many other people! I don't usually read a lot of fantasy, so I'm hoping this will be a good start!

To be honest, I read a bit of everything, usually it's depends on my mood. This week this is fantasy and two weeks later this is ''self help'' or psychology kind of books... So i guess i don't have favourite genre.
Can't wait to start this magical journey all over again!
P.S Sorry for my english. This is my first time when i interact with someone who actually native speakers (or with someone who just really good at english).

I've been wanting to start this trilogy and this readalong seems like a perfect opportunity.
My favourite fantasy books are the Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson, Seven Realms by Cinda Williams Chima, Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo and the Daevabad trilogy by S.A. Chakraborty.

Hella excited for the readalong, been meaning to read this trilogy for some time now, so it's about time for me to get into it!

Some of my favorite books are Daisy Jones and the Six, American Royals, a Curse So Dark and Lonely, American Royals and the Inheritence Games!
I love fantasy, contemporary and romance!
Im currently reading Red White & Royal Blue and have no idea what I'll start next!

My favorite fantasy books at the moment are The Folk of the Air trilogy by Holly Black and The Winner's trilogy by Marie Rutkoski.
I'm really excited for this readalong since I've only read The Bear and the Nightingale and loved it!! I have a feeling and hoping that this trilogy is going to make it in my favorites list!

Some of my favorite fantasy authors include Sarah J Maas, Cassandra Clare, Marissa Meyer, Rick Riordan, and Erin Morgenstern.
I am beyond excited to read this series. Ever since I first heard Megan speak about it on her channel, I've been wanting to read it but haven't got around to it which I'm actually thankful for so I could participate in this readathon and read the books for the first time along with everyone!
ALSO what are your favourite fantasy books?? I would love to know!
Discussion rooms for the first book will be coming soon!
