Reading the Classics discussion

Hello classic readers! This is the Weekend Shorts folder. Most weekends I will post a link to a short story or two, and we will discuss it. Sometimes we don't have time to read an entire book, but most of us can take 5-10 minutes to read a short story. I hope you enjoy!

I will be posting short stories regularly, but I am not against others adding to our Weekend Shorts. Please make sure stories are at least 50 years old. Please include a link to the story. And no repeat stories. One thread per Short, please.

Each month we will have a theme. October's theme is Spooky stories.

This is such a fun idea - I'll recommend checking out The Yellow Wallpaper as a spooky October read for anyone who hasn't read it yet.
