I loved this one. Best in the series so far. Both the baddies and the motive were a mystery until the last quarter of the book.
I loved the mystery in this one. It kept me guessing. Nothing was very obvious. I also liked getting to see Suzanne Madeaux again.
Me too. I hope she's teamed with DeLucca again. I didn't really understand the problems with their relationship. Does his ex-wife withhold visitation to his son if he has a girlfriend?
The impression I got was his ex-wife plays games involving his son when he’s involved with anyone. Who wants to be in the middle of that?
I liked him, too but he’s got some mess to resolve.

This one is my favorite so far. I agree Jonetta, Delucca will need to get a court order to get his wife off his back. As much as I want Suzanne and DeLucca together, the situation will be nothing but heartache until his son is eighteen.
Unfortunately, Sharon, I’ve seen this too often in real life. It’s despicable using a child like this in a relationship.

I watch a woman at work play with her husband's time with his kids. It is driven by anger and jealousy. I feel she should be happy her husband wants time with them.
I really liked this story. It would be great if we could see the DeLucca/Madeux team get their personal lives together. The ex needs to be challenged for joint custody, perhaps.
