Jade Mountain Academy discussion

This is probably the first place you go when you get to the academy. Here you can mingle with other dragonets and get to know them before heading to your caves for the night.

"I'm up for grabs." giggles Gympie from behind her.

"Hey."

"Hello?" He says, cocking his head.

Gympie rolls her eyes and walks over. "Hey." She says in her deep, scratchy voice.

"Nice to meet you too." Lyrebird says, shifting uncomfortably. He can feel Gympie staring at him. What is up with that dude?He thinks.

"Hmm. Nice to meet you too." She says, looking Midnight over.

Lyrebird looks at Stripes funny. "Wait, Gympie's a girl?" He mutters, and Gympie crinkles her snout at him.

Gympie rolls her eyes, and her chest tightens up a little bit. I can be that energy level, too! She thinks jealously.

(Midnight)

(She has a crush on Stripes.)

"Heeeyyyy" He whines, batting at the stick.

"Every class except art." Says Gympie. Lyrebird nods.

"Yeah, Webs is boring." Gympie agrees.

"Why?" Asks Lyrebird.

"What? I literally just said i liked art." Complains Gympie, throwing up her wings.

"Well, i guess you heard wrong." She says, pulling out a scroll and some ink to start drawing.

"Vitamins?" Gympie questions as she's leaving.

"And she left." She mutters. "Well, bye guys, I'll cya later." She walks off.

Lyrebird looks at Midnight. "Well, they were interesting."

"Yeah! Was i just me, though, or did Gympie seem a little creepy?" He asks.

"hmm." He frowns. "Whatever, I was probably just on edge."

"How do you already know me so well?" He asks, scales turning a bit pink.

"You too." He agrees.

He lets his scales change to whatever, almost all of them turning a pale pink color.

He dips his head and looks away. "So, uh... do you wanna go flying tomorrow?" He asks shyly.

"Okay! Well, since it's getting kinda late, imma head back to my cave, but I'll see you tomorrow!" He says, getting up.

(We can continue to the next day lol)

He freezes for a second, confused, before hugging her back. "Goodnight."

# the next morning #
Lyrebird paces outside his cave.

He jumps a little, white blossoming on his toes and tail, but it fades after a second. "Oh, hey!" He says, waving back and walking up to her.

"Good. How about you?"

"I'm glad to hear that." He says, lifting a talon and booping her on the nose.

He laughs too, and smiles back at her. "So, do you wanna go eat something first? Or head out now?" He asks.

(Yeah)

(Also, what time is it for you?)

(XD It's like, 12 at night for me lol)
"Okay, then let's go fly. I'm pretty sure there's a cool hidden cave in the mountain next to us." He says, starting towards the cliff.
(Lemme just make a topic real quick)

Lyrebird jumps off the cliff and flies towards one of the mountains next to the academy.

Bamboo padded into the hall.

Bamboo looked around. It's nearly empty now. I must have gotten to the school late. he thought.

Owl fluttered in and landed heavily on the stone floor of the cave. She paused for a moment and steadied herself. "Which way was the art cave again?" she muttered to herself

Bamboo turned around. "Are you looking for the art cave?" he asked the dragon.

((I'm at school so, sorry if I don't respond quickly))

Bamboo walked over to her. Maybe I can help her out. I did get a map of the school when I arrived. he thought.

Owl nodded and lashed her tail. "I can't even memorize where my cave is." she said, clearly exasperated.

Bamboo looked at her. "It's okay. I can help you if you'd like. I'm Bamboo by the way." he told her. Bamboo pulled out his map and looked at it. So, the art cave is past the library. But, before you reach stonemovers cave. Okay, I can find that! he thought as he read the map. Bamboo looked at her. "How come you can't read the map?" he asked her.

Owl looked down at her talons. "I can't because I'm blind." She said sadly.

Bamboo gasped. "I'm so sorry. Come follow me I can show you where the art cave is.." Bamboo said. Hmm... Why don't I take her to the history cave instead. That would be fun to do! Bamboo thought. Bamboo started to walk out of the cave making sure Owl was behind him. "So, what's your name?" he asked her once they were in the hall.

"My name is Owl." She said, following after Bamboo.
