Help! I am STILL trying to locate this book! Here is the synopsis for this BWWM Romance: The Heroine breaks upwith her cheating boyfriend and decides to have a drink in a hotel bar. At the bar, she is mistaken for an interview source (call girl) for an article—she goes along with it and it leads to a one-night stand which ends up in a pregnancy. A few years later she gets a job at a magazine and guess who is her new boss? He wants to pick up where they left off—but she never told him about the baby. The story starts in Chicago but may end in a different city—I never got to read this book and I know it has to be out here SOMEWHERE!!! THIS IS DRIVING ME NUTS!!!! Somebody, HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!

I feel like you might have more luck just trying "bwwm secret baby" in Amazon and seeing which one looks familiar.
There are probably hundreds of secret baby bwwm books that roughly match that description. The only distinguishing details you have are "call girl," "magazine job" and "Chicago." Nobody's going to remember those details, I don't think.

This one sounds like Something Unexpected by Tressie Lockwood, it’s a bit dated, but the details definitely match.

The heroine was younger, I don't want to say that she was the hero's ward, but the dynamic was something like that maybe? And the hero was feeling kinda iffy about it. He was the rough around the edges type. I don't think he was a billionaire/mafia or anything, but I don't remember.
I know it's a needle in a dark haystack, but does it sound familiar to anyone?
