I Belong

An accident, a mistake,
Worthless, too afraid,
Ugly, weird, obese,
Stupid, drama queen.
All of these thoughts,
All of these taunts,
Spinning out of control,
My tears spilling in the cold,
Imperfections everywhere,
Pain, but no one cares,
Mocking laughs, fake friends,
Disappointment, near the end,

Heaven reached down through your eyes,
Brought me closer to the painted skies,
You said i was no mistake, perfect for you,
Worth more than this earth could hold,
Courageous and bold,
Smart, strong,
I belong,
All of these words, broken made whole,
All of these words, from my heart to soul,
Spinning out of control in the feel of your love,
My once broken wings, soaring above,
Perfection now that i know its there,
I have pain, but now you care,
Honey laugh, a real friend,
This is just the beginning, not the end.

Here's a KOTLC Poem. I wrote it XD
I Thought You Were Mine (Sophie Foster's Perspective after she and Fitz broke up)

When you confronted me,

I tried not to cry.

That was my biggest fear.

I thought you were mine.

I tried to tell you,

Tried to explain, time after time.

But you refused to listen,

I thought you were mine.

I thought that you loved me,

Was it all a lie?

A joke, a prank, a quip?

I thought you were mine.

When our friends ask what's wrong,

I simply said, "I'm fine."

I can't tell them the truth.

I thought you were mine.

I suppose you have an image to uphold,

The legacy of your bloodline.

There's no place for freaks like me

But I thought you were mine.

How can I go on?

Without you by my side.

But now I know for sure,

You will never be mine.

Don't even know if this counts as poetry, but I thought of writing something like this. This is about a girl doing her makeup and clothes to go out with some friends.

Like paint strokes over clear canvas, I tried on all the colours.
The red one was comforting my lips, but magenta looked better.
Foundation covered my flawed face, changing how I look.
"I look so much better than when I started."
I slowly curled my eyelashes, because better is always good,
and I decided then and there to curl them all I could.
I suffocated them in black liquid, and outlines on my eyes.
Because although their feeling is fake they look better outside,
I hated how plain I looked at the very end, my hair still messy and tangled,
my body still round and ugly.
I decided I had to change that, but couldn't afford a surgery
so I tried to mask all my flaws with clothes that looked like barbies
I curled my hair and waxed my legs because they had to look good
and finally I slipped on shoes that hurt and made me trip in public.
So clumsy.
I walked out the bedroom and looked inside the mirror,
I didn't know who was there
but nobody would care
I walked outside to my friends, who really just liked my mask
they called me fake and left me there alone
I walked inside and went to sit with just me by my side
But I couldn't see her anywhere
I realized what I'd done, so I went and undid it all
All the sweat and tears washed off
It was me, there in the mirror,
with flaws and tangled hair
Down my back they went,
And was about to pick up the iron,
But I love myself so let it stay
down,
down,
my back.

Good woah or bad woah XD
I was thinking of making it rhyme but I thought it would lose its overall feel.
