So far I am finding this to be an interesting take on steampunk because it's not a geographical area seen as often in the genre. I think the only other Egyptian set steampunk I've read thus far is Gail Carriger's Timeless.
Like the humor, like the setting in Egypt. I don’t know much about Egyptian mythology so this is a nice change of pace.
I'm enjoying it so far. It's different from pretty much anything else I've ready story wise so I like that a lot. I'll start chapter 3 tomorrow :)
I was reading it more seriously until I got to the part where Agent Oni read the Djinn all the laws it was breaking! That changed the whole tone. I'm having a good time with this book so far! Thank you for the suggestion.
