(A career is someone who trained in one of the Career districts (1, 2, 4) in their district's Academy to volunteer for the Games and win)

karson tried to avoid the people that were trying to get his attention, he didn't know why they had to have this stupid ceremony anyways.

karson finally made it out of the crowd, he gave a sigh of relief. he continued walking.

Kristen's long black hair was in a ponytail which was higher than what she was used to. For some reason, it made her head feel kinda heavier. It was nice though since her hair was hitting less people today. That had always been a problem for her

karson spotted kristen, he decided to scope out the competition. he approached her "so you're the one that got chosen for the games." he looked her up and down, almost as if he were scanning her.

kristen noted this and instantly wondered if he was mentally ill. You don't, after all, look at someone's body the first thing you meet them. "Not that I had a real choice" Kristen muttered

"no, you didn't." he looked her in the eyes. "so, what is it that you can do? what skills do you have?"
