Avatar: The Last Airbender RP discussion

I'm just making this because you guys keep posting at the Kyoshi Warriors training temple while the characters aren't at the temple? And so y'all can RP here now? Yeah.

Kysa was here practicing her bending.

Shoko looked at her stance and carefully corrected it.

She was beginning to enjoy his presence as she carefully made sure her stance was correct.

"Now stomp then punch." Shoko said watching her closely.

Focusing, she stomped her foot. A boulder came up she aimed for the center as she punched it.

((Gonna have her captured ok?))

"Congrats...you just did a basic launch." Shoko said patting her on the back.

Men in dark robes surrounded the camp. As she finished the exercise, she felt their vibrations. "Shoko..." She screamed as cuffs came flying at her, cuffing her hands and feet.

Shoko takes a battle stance. "Who are you and what do you want?" He asked glaring at all of them.

One of them stepped out staring down at Kysa. "A bit slow now are we? Did you think you could be safe by running...princess?" Looking at Shoko, he said, "We're here to obtain a valuable asset." He clenched his fists, as the cuffs dragged Kysa to them.

"Over my dead body.." Shoko says as he chases after them.

Kysa struggled as her captor dragged her off. She tried to clench the ground with her fingers, managing to slow her movements. "Let me go!" She made a flicking movement with her hand, sending a projectile at her captor. It didn't work, he smashed the boulder to smithereens.

"Cut it out Princess...don't make this more difficult than it has to be."

A bolder came flying at one of the men.

One man was knocked out. The leader grabbed Kysa off the ground, pressing a knife to his throat. "One more move and you'll have royal blood on your hands!" He shouted. The knife pressed into her neck, a line of blood fell down.

"Look down." Shoko says.

"Whuh..."

Kysa's eyes welled with tears. She shouldn't have gotten Shoko involved.

As the man looks down a fist made of stone decks him in the face hard enough to knock him out, possibly giving the guy one heck of a wake up call. "Anyone else?" Shoko said popping his neck, wanting to freak these guys out.

"Man, she ain't worth it." They bended out of there, dropping Kysa to the ground.

She stayed lying on the ground, the knife had cut her neck but it wasn't too bad.

Shoko walked up, holding his hand out with a smile.

Kysa struggled with the cuffs around her hands, she could feel Shoko's vibrations.

"One second." Shoko laughed. He broke the cuffs via bending.

Kysa rubbed her wrists, feeling confused and upset at what happened.

Shoko just shrugged. "Maybe they thought you were someone important?" He says to thick skulled to believe she was actually a princess.

"No Shoko, they were right. I...haven't been completely honest." She rubbed her head, unsure how to continue.

Shoko sat down. "OK..not like were going anywhere for awhile. Shoot." He said being his usual relaxed self.

((Nevermind, we'll leave the reveal till Omashu))

"I..." She couldn't tell him, she realized. She didn't want to endanger him. "Actually, yeah. They wanted me because...well I worked as a maid for Princess Kisarra."

He nodded. "Makes sense. After all you WOULD get to know her and her secrets." He said making a good point.

Kysa blushed hard. "Yeah, there's a lot of...things that I know about her."

Shoko raised an eyebrow. "What's with the blush?" He asked rather bluntly.

"Was thinking about how you went after those guys without a second thought."

"Huh...yeah I guys I did....don't really know why..." He said honestly, then he blushed, though very faintly. So faint you couldn't tell unless you squint.

(Nah..let the king tell him.)

((Won't he be upset? And there's no king yet. Will you make him?))

(Sure and that's the point. To cause a little drama.)

(How is the king supposed to act btw? Is he a good dad? a bad dad? Both?)

((Both, he tried to protect her by keeping her in Omashu. That's why she ran away.))

"Now then let's get back at it. By tomorrow we'll be in our first stop so we need you trained and ready in case something like that happens again." Shoko said as he got into a battle stance. "Now for something a bit advanced. Combat training. You. Me." He stomps making a very simple battle ground. "First one out looses."
