The Hunger Games discussion

The Cornucopia is in the center of the arena, surrounded by all of the tributes. There are a few backpacks and parcels scattered around the outside for those who are too afraid to enter. The good stuff is inside, but entering could get you killed, as there’s only one way in and out. This is where the Bloodbath happens, where many of the tributes are slaughtered at once.
If you’re brave (or stupid) enough to go inside, you’ll see that the right side is filled with all sorts of weapons, like swords, spears, bows and arrows - but there isn’t a single knife, or gun (spearguns and things like that aren't there either). The left side is full of materials, such as containers of food and water, ropes and wires, and exactly 24 vials of a strange liquid, four of each color.

Keep in mind that tributes can't carry that much stuff. They can't just grab all the weapons in the cornucopia. Please only take one of the vials! They're important.

Noelle ran inside, looking at the choices. She grabbed a backpack, stuffing some food and water inside and a matchbox, a vial, as well as a sword. She hung back against the wall, waiting to kill.

Scarlette dives for the matches and the swords, taking a spear too while she's at it. She then takes a step back, looking for victims.

Connall raced into the horn, grabbing a bow and arrow and slinging them around himself automatically. He whirled, looking for...more supplies? The Careers? A victim?

Lilac ran into the Cornucopia. She grabbed a hatchet - her go-to weapon and a rope, and then after barely a moment's pause snatched an orange vial off the shelf and ran out.

Foxglove slowly creeps inside the horn, getting darts, but mostly food.
She then dives between some of the supplies, hoping to hide it out until the end.

Jackson dove in, taking a parcel and a spear.

Helio ran in grabbing a sword and a green vial, heading after Lilac.

Noelle spotted Scarlette and walked towards her, sword drawn and matches in hand. Her backpack with supplies and the vial was slung over her shoulder.

"We'll need food, and the vials will probably be useful," Connall called to Noelle and Scarlette, eyes narrowed. What else would they need?
He grabbed two vials, one orange and one red, and put them in one of the food containers.

Jaspur grabbed several knives and stuffed them in his belt. He grabbed a backpack as well and looked around. What do I do now?

Azzy raced in, grabbing a spear and a rope, along with a crystal clear blue vial; what could she say? Blue had usually been her lucky color. She headed right to where the careers went, holding her weapon at the ready. "Where to?" She asked

Caleb ran into the Cornucopia, and found most of the Careers in there. He noticed a wire and picked it up, along with a sword that he had no idea how to use, but seemed about his size. He picked up a blue vial and waited with the Careers.

Azure runs inside, grabbing a sword, and looking around, Her entire body pulsed with adrenaline, and she wanted to kill.
Wanted to have a goddamned kill.
She creeps through the Horn, looking for someone to kill. Suddenly, she trips on someone's wrist, and gapes in disbelief as she sees little Foxglove hiding between some supplies. Grinning, Azure launches forward swinging her sword.

"I have a red vial," Noelle said quietly. "And some food."

Scarlette dives for the green vial, not even pausing to think about it.

Jaspur ran up to Caleb. "Hey, you," he said, out of breath. "Where's everyone else?"

August grabs a bow and arrow and a sword

"Two vials and a food container," Connnall nodded. "We'll need water, too."

Noelle patted her backpack which contained a water bottle, some food, and her bright red vial. Her matches and sword were in her hands.

Azzy grabbed a bag and swung it on her back, putting water in it. "I have water."

Foxglove's shriek pierces the air, as she stumbles backwards, trying desperately to avoid Azure's sword.
She scrambles away, the blade coming near to cutting off her ear, Still screaming, she reaches for the closest weapon, a hatchet.
Azure chases after her, looking around, swinging her sword.
A kill. I need a kill.

She grabs some food and water and runs out quickly

Jackson looked inside his parcel which contained a small bit of food, a water bottle, and some rope. He held his spear tightly.

Foxglove suddenly leaps to her feet, feral energy coursing through her veins. She was not dying today, not to some bitch like Azure.
Azure stops, confused that the girl isn't running anymore, and Foxglove meets Azure's eyes with steel-hard determination.
"Die," she whispers, and, seeing red, the little girl dives straight at Azure's throat.
Azure screams and stumbles backwards, but Foxglove strikes her in the knee, and she falls headfirst onto the ground.

"Where are we going?" Azalea asked, scanning their surroundings.

Foxglove stares at Azure, who is bleeding on the knee, her mouth curled into a smile of determination.
Not dying today.
She lifts her hatchet, ready to cut off Azure's head, when-

Noelle felt the adrenaline rushing inside her, wild eyes gleaming as she looked around.
Kill.
Kill them all.
Get your vengeance.

Jackson frowned. "I think we should go to the shore. We could have a chance at fishing, with our spears."

Yasmin rushed to the Cornucopia. She was terrified, but deperately needed supplies. She reached for a bow and arrow.

Scarlette whirls around, hearing screeches.
She narrows her eyes, seeing little Foxglove ready to finish off Azure.
She doesn't think twice, doesn't let guilt or reason take over her mind, she just takes her spear and throws.
One kill for Caprice.
Because she would never back down.
The spear enters Foxglove's chest, who gurgles blood for a second, brown eyes wide, before collapsing onto the grass, and a cannon shot rings out.
Azure slowly gets up to her feet, her knee cut, before running away as fast as possible.
Scarlette turn back to her allies.
I have a kill now.
She was dangerous.
I am dangerous.
"So, what were you saying?" she asks her allies with a slightly demonic smile.

Yasmin tried to dodge but it was too late. She gasped. "Please...don't kill me," she begged.

"Water?" Connall asked. "Looks safe. Or the fields." He had an arrow nocked, ready to fire. But he didn't want to.

Scarlette follows Noelle, wanting to kill, kill so badly. Killing Foxglove was something that she had never done before, never killed something so innocent, and she wanted to do it again.
"Want company?" she asks Noelle, lighting a match.

Jaspur nodded. "Sounds good as long as we get the f*** outta here. All the other tributes are definitely planning on killing us."

Victoria pulls a sleeping bag and sword out of the Cornucopia before bolting towards the storm fields.

"K, let's go." Azzy affirmed, running towards the ocean.

Scarlette feels a laugh bubble out of her throat as she tosses a match at Yasmin's face.
Control.
You are in control.
You are the killer here. No one else.

Noelle looked straight into Yasmin's eyes. Kill. Kill for Melantha. Kill for Crimson. Kill for Lilith. Kill for Mara. And...kill for Selene. "Begging now, are we? I'll finish you off quickly, don't worry." Without further hesitation, she stabbed her sword down into Yasmin's chest.

Connall nodded, sprinting after her. Scarlette and Noelle would catch up - just hopefully not to kill him, too.

Scarlette grins as Yasmin's body combust, and winks at Noelle.
"Okay, let's go," she says, with joyful confidence.
