So I know this part of EoS is completely split in the fandom in terms of opinions. Lots find it cringy, lots don't. I am definitely in the latter. Like, it was so... you know, just perfect. It was by complete consent between the two, And the "to whatever end" part is just so beautiful. I... love this part ngl.

As someone who read ACOTAR series first, I was surprised it took that long for a scene like it to appear!

But wait, haven't you read Crescent City? Are you telling me an SJM book marketed as Adult didn't have more scenes like this one..?

there actually weren't. There were like...references...to scenes like this. But the actual *explicit scene* didn't happen.

Trust me, it's almost impossible to not love the scene in acomaf. It's a long time coming but it's so emotional like all of her sensual scenes are rather than just being there for the sake of it. SJM makes these scenes a part of the characters and their journeys, which is why I like them

Yeah like in this one you know that line "even when the world is a forgotten whisper of dust between the stars I will still love you" like that just was so.. and also "to whatever end". And the way Rowan wasn't afraid of her flames at all, he embraced them.. and it was also like so completely by both of theirs full consent and wish and choice and.. after all both of them had been through, they were there, together, at last and I can't help but love that 💕

Maybe I just ship them too deeply. You're all more than welcome to disagree with me, this is just my opinion

I agree that this scene is beautiful with how thy finally both find love after all the pain. And ‘to whatever end’ is such a beautiful quote. And ‘even when this world is a speck of dust in between the stars I will love you’ Ahhhhh I love them so much

It was a really beautiful seen, I liked it! And i agree with everyone else Crescent City didn't have that at all and ACOTAR had much more of it. LOL and she said ACOSF had so much of it that her editor had to tell her to take some of it out! But i really don't mind it

You know, "medical terms" or whatever you want to call the... words that are in... contemporary erotica books, those make me uncomfortable. For sure. But how SJM manages to bring like, galaxies and the universe and stars and the gods and everything into that one scene, it's just like... incredible. You know?

NGL Acotar had so much more and I read this scene before I started the series....oops i was just too excited and knew too much alreayd.

This such a powerful scene. It wasnt just sex, there so much emotion they expressed while performing the action.
