Updated and we have a THREE way tie between A Duke of Her Own,Lord of A Thousand Nights, and Accidentally Compromising. With 96 total, these 3 share 45 of the points. So many good choices this month! I don't think my choices will be a tie-breaker, but we'll see. :)

***WITH this update, Accidentally compromising is now in first w/ 16 points.

Thanks!
May I flip my first and third picks? Sorry if that is not allowed, I'm still a bit new to this group. :)
Topastro wrote: "May I flip my first and third picks? Sorry if that is not allowed, I'm still a bit new to this group. :)"Oh, it's allowed & done--since only one's voted since the tally it's a good time, otherwise we prefer after a subtotal :) !
A Duke of Her Own now in the lead!
Since my 3 picks are nowhere near leading, I might change my top pick altogether to try to move my preference closer to or keep it at a 1-2 spot. I’ll wait for your next update, Sam.

And everything is updated so if you feel like changing please do.
People have very tough choices this time around, which is why I've yet to vote.
Not sure how useful it is for me to vote for my top pick as I see no one else has picked it lol, but here goes anyway: 1. My Fair Concubine
2. Carry the World
3. Venetia
If there are no other votes for My Fair Concubine then I'd replace it by a vote for The Duke and I.
So much strategic thinking involved in these votes. :) Okay, I too have been pondering my plan of attack, whether to do a late strike or to vote early on books not really anywhere near the lead in the hope, that someone else might also change their votes, after seeing that those choices might not be completely hopeless after all. Mods, be prepared for a lot of last minute changes!
Okay, I'm going to go out on a limb try to push up some currently way out of contention books:
3 points: Unforgivable
2 points: Conor's Way
1 point: Lord of a Thousand Nights

We have FIVE days! If nothing else, hold on to it for another nomination, or put out some buddy read vibes! I'm just starting Jeannie Lin's work and will be excited to read more.
I'm assuming you are going in order of choices - MFC is your top vote?

I'm ready at my keyboard! For this category in particular, or lack thereof, it's a great chance to be lobbying and having fun.
I'm updating as we speak.
I could probably choose half of this list as my top choice so have been waiting as well. It is fun to see we have some rallying going :).

I won't say how many times I switched my #s around while entering!

I purchased that Proctor book as soon it released on ebook. I’d be game for that BR.
Looks like A Duke of Her Own won and Accidentally Compromising the Duke will beat the Lord of a Thousand Nights in a tie breaker.

Ok glad we're on the same page! I'll update the shelves.

We will be voting in-thread using a tiered point system. You can vote for up to three book. Here's how the points work:
> First (or only) choice = 3 points
> Second choice = 2 points
> Third choice = 1 point
If there are not 3 that interest you, you don’t have to vote for three options — one or two is fine.
Voting Ends November 29. At the end of the voting period. the top two vote-getters will be the BOTMs. If we have a tie, we will use number of first place votes, or if that doesn't work, number of second place votes as a tie-breaker. If we need another tie-breaker, we will discuss in thread and add to rules in future.
If you want to change your vote, please wait until after the next tally update. If we haven't updated the tallies for a while by the end of the voting period, we'll add two more days to the voting period in case members want to change their vote.
We will be tracking the votes in a google sheet. You can check the point tally here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/... We'll also post updates occasionally in thread.
