What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

read around 2013-15. MC is a girl in her teens/twenties, there was a murder in her town maybe one of her friends, she goes to the funeral. Think something happens at a graveyard, she is trying to find out what happened, somehow met a painter, start a relationship, think he painted nudes, and had some connection with the villains, who may have been vampires or organised crime, definitely rich though. Remember the cover having a picture of a canal with a Venetian mask behind the title.
