ok initial impressions:
kaz seems cool but a little 1 dimensional
the world building is interesting
I like the prose a lot, no complaints there

Taking time for me to get into it because of all the big words. I'm sure the more I read, I'll get used to the world and all. I like Kaz.

I really like how unique the whole inej being the wraith thing is. the number of points of view is a little jarring though.

I read your review Rania and I agree it is slow because I have the sudden urge to drop the book but the exciting vibes you spread in the review have encouraged me to continue.

Awww I’m so happy 😊. Even for me it was really slow in the beginning and I almost lost interest. But then I remembered the hype it was getting and I gave it a go. Well, I certainly didn’t regret it;)

I think it started picking up around chapter 3 but it’s definitely not very action packed.

i’m still finding it so difficult to read. 2 stars at the most rn. I don’t get any sucked into the storyline vibes, it feels more like a duty to read it.

yeah. it never ended up piquing my interest. very disappointing. the characters were pretty good but the prose was 🤮

Aww so dropped it? Well I'm still reading and it's quite okay. If at some point I feel like there is nothing interesting. I'll also drop the book.

I loved this book!!!!! Wished join this group before tonight so could of buddy read with you all!! Was slow going at first, but once it got going omg loved it!!! The characters especially Waith & Kaz!! Awww”...no mourners no funerals for them it passed as good luck...” omg one of my all time fav quotes!!!! I I really thought the cast of misfits really excelled & grew to become their own version of family!! It was adventure packed, witty banter, suspense filled with detailed world building that I was able to submerge myself into the story! True escapism at its finest!!!! 💯🎉🤩😂😍
