Team “Limes in the Coconut”
Hello. I'm back in school so I don't know how much time I will have to devote to earning maximum points. But I'll do my best. I might have to steal book ideas from other players.
Welcome, Mary: HD♥S and Kim! I'll be your Captain for Round III.Does anyone have any ideas for names?
Lime Ladies
Lime & Jalapeños!
Jalapeños Lime Poppers
Lime Shots
Sweet Limes
Lime Lovers
Limelights
Lime in the Coconuts
Limes in the Coconut
Coconuts in the Lime
Hi guys! Sorry for checking in a bit late, the email telling me I have a message at GR went to my spam :/I am really excited!
My fave name ideas of the ones mentioned are Lime in the Coconuts and Lime Ladies :)
We mods have discussed it and decided you may choose two (2) categories from which to accumulate points.
Still, within each category you will only get one match. So, if you have two names that match two in the the "name" category, you would only get five (5) points, not ten (10).
EXAMPLE ONLY. Player Review & Points
♬ Week 1 Song: "The Safety Dance" - Men Without Hats (1982)
Book: A Long Way Down, by Nick Hornby
Rating: ★★★★★
Finished: Jan. 27, 2015
Review: This was an unexpected surprise. The cover doesn't do the book any favours but once I started reading, the characters hooked me right in. I'm not usually a fan of the suicide attempts, but this book broke the mold and pulled at the heartstrings. Love the bonding of the characters.

I guess I need to reread the rules. I didn't play the last round. Looks like some things have changed. I'll read them tomorrow. I'm too tired now.
That's actually a relief because I don't have as much time as before. I can't spend hours on end finding a book that hits the most categories.
I feel like I should start looking for books but at the same time, I don't want to wast the time because I don't know which song will be called. Maybe I'll just scroll through the shelves and see if anything from my TBR jumps out at me.
I'm hoping the song will get posted early enough in the day today for me to start something. I work M-F and I'm going back to school. Sat & Sunday are my biggest reading time days.

I can download this on audio from my library, it's worth 10:
. Which works better for me anyway because I'd have to pay for Archangel's Shadows. I'm still too far down the wait list at the library to get it in time.
I can also download the Nora Roberts one from my library SO I will do that one too unless someone comes up with something worth more points :)
I am having technical difficulties with Angels Fall. It's a WMA audiobook and it says it's putting in my IPOP but I cannot find it anywhere. It's not under author, title, album, audiobook, podcast, playlist or anything. But overdrive keeps telling me it's on my IPOD.There's a wait list for the ebook version and my local library is closed on Sundays.
I managed to find some black rewritable discs and I'm downloading it now so I can load them onto Itunes.
Mary: HD♥S, are you using Windows PC or a Mac? I would open up your ODA app and upload it to that, then transfer it to your iPod.
I am transferring it through the Overdrive app. I transferred it and when it didn't show up, I went to transfer it again and it said it was already on the device. But it's nowhere to be found. It's OK. I happen to have some rewritable CDs and I got out the old laptop. So I have one laptop burning the CDs and one loading them onto Itunes.
I enjoyed that one so much, Mary: HD♥S, that I'm downloading it to listen to it again; it has been almost four years since I last heard it.
I'm having dejavu while I read this. So I'm wondering if I read this a few years ago and forgot to mark it read of if I just read a very similar book before.
mine is only 3 points too. its
it has a ghost in it but will keep searching to see if anything else comes to light.
Limes in the Coconut could also work for me.I am pretty far through the Nora Roberts book already. It's a very easy read. With luck I will finish by tomorrow night.
I got a late start on my book because of all the time it took to burn the CDS and then load them onto Itunes. But I got about an hour in last night before bed and then another 90min in this morning while getting ready for work. I don't think I'll finish it tonight. I'm going to stop at the library on my lunch break and pick up a print copy. I really think I've read this book before.
So I have already been given tomorrow off because of this big winter storm aimed right as us. They are predicting power outages. If I go AWOL, that's why. Which reminds me that I better get some cash so I can pay someone to plow me out.
Now that I'm further into the book, I don't think I've read this one before after all. Just more than a few with the theme "the girl on the run goes to small town to hide from whatever trouble is following her and gets work in a diner with a gruff but lovable owner."
No I don't think so. I don't usually watch the Lifetime type movies. (I did know there was a movie of it). Forgot to mention that I picked up the print copy from the library after work. So I don't have to deal with burning more copies of the audiobook.
