As for the book that made me cry most recently, surprisingly it was a James Patte..."

Wonder if your Christmas discussion pick will make us cry. I've got the book and reading the cover seems like it starts out sad. Uh Oh.

So, I never read this book but have had the audio on my phone for a few weeks. I am planning to listen to it very soon - hope the narrator is good. Will let you know if it made me cry! 😁

Julesy I do not recall the most recent book that made me cry. I am assuming crying is not from tears of boredom! 😂 I will have to go through my book list to see if any jog my memory if I cried or not.

I'm not a REAL crier. My husband (who cries if he watches Little House on the Prairie) says somethings wrong with me because I could be hit by a Mack truck and not cry - complain a LOT but not cry. But sometimes I think I should cry and A Tree Grows in Brooklyn makes me think I should cry; didn't do it but thought about it.

I think I read this in school but I don't remember much of the story.

Yes, regularly. I'll be reading, crying, sniffling and my husband walk in... embarrassing, lol.

Jamie Barringer (Ravenmount) (ravenmount) The Poisonwood Bible made me cry, I may have just been in a crying mood when I read it, but it was pretty gut-wrenching in some bits.
