Never thought to look to see if you already had a spreadsheet or not. I've just been making one. Only half way through the tasks.
Peggy wrote: "Wouldn't it be fun if we created your interactive tasks? ;-)"Go for it! I would enjoy having to gopher for the challenge like the rest of you do.
Sarah wrote: "Never thought to look to see if you already had a spreadsheet or not. I've just been making one. Only half way through the tasks."Were you able to look at my spreadsheet? You're welcome to copy it if you like.
Awesome :D If everyone's who interested in creating some interactive tasks for Janice sends me a PM, I'll divide museums. If you then send me your tasks, we can surprise Janice with them all at once. It will be like a mini year long challenge for her :)
Janice wrote: "Sarah wrote: "Never thought to look to see if you already had a spreadsheet or not. I've just been making one. Only half way through the tasks."Were you able to look at my spreadsheet? You're wel..."
Yes I could see it. Now I've done half, copy and pasting yours will probably take the same amount of time as copy and pasting the info from the main challenge thread so i'll just carry on as I am. Thanks though.
Great idea, Peggy! I'd be in for a couple too. I mentioned it in the other thread, but just to add it here too. Remember that you can't duplicate tasks with friends, so you will need to create tasks specifically for Janice. Don't plan to copy your own.
Alright Janice, here are your tasks! Like the ones you make for us, there's nice variety in difficulty ;-)I added the names of the members who created the tasks, just in case you need a ruling ;-) I tried to work with pictures as much as I could, but sometimes that didn't work so then there's a link.
I also have this as a Word-file with all the coding, so let me know if that's useful to you if you want to copy/paste these tasks somewhere else, but without losing anything from them.
Happy gophering!!
Oh, and did you say it was your birthday today? Happy birthday!!

Interactive item – Baobab Tree
(view spoiler)
On the move – The Baobab, also known as the tree of life, have been carbon-dated at up to 2,450 years old. These enormous trees can grow up to 154’ circumference, with trunks holding up to 120,000 litres of water. Unfortunately, in the early 21st Century these trees began dying off, possibly due to dehydration from global warming. There are many origin tales attached to this tree, my favorite is that when God planted the Baobab it just kept walking away, so God planted it upside down to keep it where it was put.

Wow! This is great. I'm going to have fun gophering. It's quite the birthday present. :) Thanks so much, everyone, and thanks for organizing this Peggy.
Wow! I've plugged all the tasks into my spreadsheet. I had fun looking at the pictures and seeing the tasks. There were a few chuckles and a few groans. I can empathize with you all a little better. Once I gopher for them all, I will post my results.
So many great tasks on there for you Janice. Some very creative ones too. Happy gophering! And happy birthday!
Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone. I spent a good portion of it gophering the interactive tasks! I'm quite excited about the books I'm finding for these and the whole challenge. There are lots of new titles finding their way to the tasks. Last year, I carried quite a few forward from the previous year and I was hoping that wouldn't be the case this time.So if I have questions on the interactive tasks you've all assigned me, where do you want me to post them. I have one for Rusalka on Museum 4 that I posted in the Museum 4 Help thread, but no response so far. Should I post my questions in the help threads, or should I post them here?
I'd say "Interactive Tasks" thread sounds reasonable, but I was also checking this one just in case. I just think your thread might become to messy if we are all posting here. I don't know what the rest of the Circumstantial Task Creators (?) think. I'll adjust.
Interactive tasks sounds good to me too. I remember I did interactive tasks for you, but even though it was only a few days ago I don't remember the museum numbers. If others are the same, it might be easier to check the interactive thread for your questions than your own museum threads.
Happy belated birthday, Janice!Such awesome tasks I'd never thought of. It's interesting to read but too 'scary' to do it. Good luck, and all the best wishes for you~!
Jenn wrote: "Me too, especially since apparently I gave mean tasks 🤦♀️ lol"I think you did 3, right? The travel one was good. I found a book fairly easy. I'm going to be listening to that lovely voice of Jamie Frazer. *sigh*. I now have to find a new Africa book because of the bicycle task, but it's a perfect book for it. I haven't done the survival one yet. That might be more of a challenge.
Sounds like some great choices 👍 and I’m jealous I should have grabbed them all when the library brought them in, but I only borrowed Dragonfly in Amber, and when I was done the rest were no longer available on audiobook 🤦♀️ Alas, I shall find my text copies at some point lol
The travel book I'm going to read is Clanlands: Whisky, Warfare, and a Scottish Adventure Like No Other. I'm quite intrigued.
