I loved this book so much, the murder mystery was well written with good pacing, and the characters were likeable, especially with their flaws and struggles written in such a realistic way. I never would have guessed who was the proper culprit, and I was in suspense the whole way throughout the book! Hope you guys will enjoy it too! :)
This was a quick, compelling read for me. I'll admit to double-checking the setting---these folks in the U.S. had some actual English in their vocabulary, describing houses as "detached", the term "bits". I found it charming. This is a fabulous book for me to share with "my" high-school students who love solving mysteries.
I've just finished reading this absolutely fabulous book. I've always loved mysteries, and this book is leading me to that genre again, I guess. I loved the modern touch and diversity. I couldn't believe what was happening when I reached the ending. The writing style is beautiful. I fell into the book at the very start of it. I totally recommend this book!
I've been trying to read this book for about 2 weeks and I just can't do it. I feel like I'm in the minority here but I didn't like this book at all and ended up dnfing it. The switch from third person to first person narratives made the writing feel awfully stunted and I was having trouble keeping track of all the side characters. I'd like to say I'd try reading this again a different time, but I doubt that's gonna happen.
