Marianne says, “The more I know of the world, the more I am convinced that I shall never see a man whom I can really love. I require so much!”

Looking forward to seeing what you read for Team Marianne, Georgiana. :)

message 6: by Teresa (new)

Teresa I didn't do too well this past year. Got to number seven I think. I'll try and do better this year so I'm starting here again.

message 7: by Sophia (new)

Sophia (sophiarose) | 804 comments Mod
LOL, I won't make mine either this past year, but yay for a new one to start over. Go get 'em, Teresa!

message 8: by Teresa (new)

Teresa I would think you're way ahead of me though Sophia :) I'll try and do better next year. I need to reread the novels and I have a few non fictions I want to read as well. Something to look forward to. They're predicting another lock down in January for us here in Ireland so plenty of reading will be needed to get through it!!

message 9: by Sophia (new)

Sophia (sophiarose) | 804 comments Mod
Yes, LOL. I want to read some of her Juvenlia and have a rework of one picked for January.
Ugh, yes, I wouldn't be surprised if we all are in another lock down. At least I have a stack to read and distract me, too. :)

message 10: by Teresa (new)

Teresa It's about all we can do Sophia. We opened up here last Tuesday for the Christmas period. We were in level 5. I don't know how much more I can take though!!

message 11: by Sophia (new)

Sophia (sophiarose) | 804 comments Mod
One breath at a time; one step at a time. That's what I have to tell myself so I don't get overwhelmed. I'm keeping it on the down low for Christmas, but yeah, it can be frenzied around here, too. Wishing you well, Teresa! :)

Flying Colours by C.S. Forester

A series of around 30 books. Okish writing. The A&E miniseries of about 8 episodes a joy....many Austen/Period drama actors....lol Lydia Bennet '95 marries Hornblower.
