Yes, definitely! And the cover is so beautiful! It was actually my first book to read by Melanie so for that reason, it's special to me. After that, I read The Fairest Beauty. LOL, I obviously didn't read them in order. I want to reread them all in order sometime soon.

Hey don't worry, I didn't read them in order either lol it took me four books until I realized there was specific order they were supposed to be read in XD The Fairest Beauty was the first book I read of Melanie's, so that book holds a special place in my heart because it's the one that first introduced me to the Hagenheim family. I was in love Weaver since XD ❤

I've read the captive maiden and I was like "hmm there is characters who seemed to have a story of their own before this one" and I searched it up and I was reading the 4th book of the series. It was fine even though the characters are mentioned Melanie Dickerson focuses solely on the main characters there were no spoilers which I liked best!
